Garry Campbell has been a Director since 19 February 1997. He was the General Manager – Information Technology Services for Coles Myer Ltd up until his retirement in January 2003. Upon the merger of Coles and Myer in 1985, Mr Campbell worked closely with senior management to form the Coles Myer Information Services (CMIS), of which he was subsequently appointed Chief General Manager.

Mr Campbell was a member of the Electronic Commerce Committee, which participates in the Victorian Premier’s Taskforce on Communications and Multimedia. He was Chairman of the Electronic Commerce Australia Board prior to the merger with Tradegate. He was also a member of the CSIRO Service Sector Advisory Committee and was Chairman of the IT Forum, a group of leaders of information technology business throughout Australia.

Mr Campbell has a Diploma in Computer Science from the Southball College of Technology in the United Kingdom. Mr Campbell represents exporters; importers; manufacturers, primary producers and primary industry; retailers; wholesalers.

Mr Campbell enjoys swimming, reading and the opera. He is married with three children and lives in Melbourne.
