Overview

Tradegate is a membership based, not-for-profit user organisation whose Mission is:

Through our long involvement with Electronic Commerce we have developed considerable expertise in electronic data interchange (EDI), web based technologies, Internet communication and general electronic messaging. Industries in which we have particular expertise include, exports and imports, air, sea, road and rail transport and electronic payments.

Members are able to avail themselves of this expertise and experience and utilise our skills and those of consultants who work closely with us to assist them in the following areas:

• technical aspects of EDI messaging;
• business process re-engineering analysis;
• trading partner surveys and communications;
• in-house specialised training; and
• assistance in dealing with software or technology suppliers.

Help is as simple to obtain as a telephone call to our offices or send an email. We provide a limited free of charge service to individual members. Large specific assignments are quoted on at member rates.

Membership of Tradegate is open to all businesses, government agencies, academic institutions and individuals interested in electronic commerce in the international trade and transport industry. Membership fees range from $165 per annum for a single State operation to $495 per annum for a multi-State operation.

Upon joining members are allocated to their chosen category. When elections for directors are held, members will vote within these categories for the director of their choice.
