PKI Hosted Certificates

Tradegate provides the only Australian Customs Service approved secure environment to host a company's Type 3 Host (server) certificate.

This means that your neutral community service provider, Tradegate, will host your Type 3H certificate, enabling you to send electronic messages via our Message Direct service and perform any necessary PKI processing on your behalf.

Tradegate's procedural controls and security arrangements meet the demanding requirements of Customs and the Federal Government's Gatekeeper PKI. These controls include:

• Housing all equipment in highly secure, limited access, data centres
• Restricting operating systems access to all but necessary personnel
• Annual security audits by Customs approved personnel
• Provision of a fully compliant disaster recovery (DR) site separate from the production facility
• Secure back up of data (12 months minimum)

The service is bundled with the Message Direct service.
